Listening
For some time, Duane Bidwell has described his primary vocation as "listening for the Kingdom" - that is, listening both on behalf of God's in-breaking presence and for manifestations of that reality in everyday life.
Relationship, hope, and the possibility of abundant life are hallmarks of Duane's clinical and pastoral vocation. This ministry of listening occurs through the varied activities of pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, preaching, speaking, and consulting.
Currently, Duane provides listening ministries in the contexts of the Pastoral Care and Training Center of Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University, and of First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport, Texas.
